Beside The Still Waters

Mount Moran in the Tetons National Park

Beside The Still Waters, a poem by Sharon Day

Beside the still waters the Lord leadeth me.
Beside the still waters He speaks quietly.
In pastures of green He makes me lie down.
Beside the still waters His presence is found.
Beside the still waters He restoreth my soul.
His righteousness leads me in paths I should go.
He calms the storms that I journey through.
I rest on His Word and His promises true.
He calms the storm so the waters are still.
He abundantly blesses, and my cup He does fill.
Goodness and mercy follow all of my days,
For He sent His Son to show me the way.
And in His house forever I'll dwell,
Because my Savior loves me so well.
